Year- round, long-term housekeeper/cook/manager for Garrison, NY, ASAP! Our clients, a family of three is looking for a professional, well referenced, Housekeeper/Cook with some management abilities to help maintain their summer residence in Garrison, NY. Candidates must be experienced working in a fine home and can demonstrate skills in all aspects of household maintenance. The client seeks an organized candidate with a desire to provide first class service.
Position: Housekeeper
* Housekeeping. The Housekeeper will be responsible for full charge housekeeping, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting, as appropriate, all floors and household surfaces, including antiques.
* Laundry / Ironing. The Housekeeper should be able to do daily general laundry, as well as provide expert care for fine clothing. Ironing and clothing care skills.
* Cooking.Will be responsible for menu planning, shopping for healthy ingredients, preparing, and serving meals as required.
* Driving. Candidate will need to drive: errands etc.

* Honest, discrete and completely trustworthy
* Proactive, efficient and well organized
* Available always to assist, but aware of when to retreat from view

Compensation and Benefits

Travel Nanny needed for international family based in Dallas. Should have long-term references (more than a year on each job), have a passport in hand, and be able to travel at least 50% of each month - sometimes at the drop of the hat and often over holidays. Children are small and the family runs a formal (British standards) home in that he employers are kind but are employers (not adopted/extended family) and there are other staff in various positions that you will need to team with to see that the needs of the family are met. The right nanny will have traveled internationally at least once and domestically often with children. Should be fit and fast on your feet, professional on all levels - should also be able to travel on the water for extended periods of time (no seasickness). Your nanny references will describe you as kind, pro-active in looking for educational opportunities through everyday play and inventive in looking for new experiences for the children while traveling.
